Happy St. Patrick’s Day

It is St. Patrick's Day today the luck of the Irish they say, Dress in green and don't get pinched! It is hard to find a Christian perspective about this day as the world seems to want to paint everything with drinking alcohol and being party animals. Little do people know there is abit of history behind why St. Patrick's Day happened.

 I was doing some looking around and some articles said St. Patrick was a a guy in Ireland that was the first to lead people in Ireland to Christ or to a church to meet Christ. Some Christians may celebrate with hosting feasts to celebrate, and some may not do too much. Some places hosts St. Patrick's Day parades to celebrate as well.

I think St. Patrick's Day you need to be careful what you partake in as some things that the world dose is not very Godly at all such as drinking and getting drunk.

Heres a verse of the day from bible gateway. Psalm 23:1-3 is familiar to most of us. Feel free to look up the rest if you need more.

A psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my shepherd;
    I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
    he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3     He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
    bringing honor to his name.
