1 Timothy 1:15
15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.
Today's verse certainly can speak to us all. I don't think anyone of us is more or less of a sinner than our neighbour or familys or friends. There is no sin that can't be forgiven. Sometimes we feel we may have or someone else has done something so terrible that they are the worst. Timothy says he felt like that, but God forgave Him through His Son Jesus, and God used Timothy to do show others they can be useful and forgiven too!
Yesterday's verse was quite interseting and a good reminder that we too need to give thanks to God. When we represent the Lord we need to give credit back to Him.
16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. 17 And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
